Moving into the 80's Kustom had a new owner
and new designs. A new company called Crate was becoming popular and their
natural wood designs inspired the folks at Kuston to offer a similar looking
product.
Since it was a departure from the traditional
Kustom look, they decided to depart from their tried and true solid state
electronics for these models. These represent the finest tube equipt amplifiers
Kustom built.
Their warm fat tone was perfect for the recording musician. These models were quite popular.
These amps are a hybrid of tubes and solid state. They were made in the early 1980's.

This is one of the last designs offered by Kustom of Chanute, KS.
This 2 tube head is missing the center inserts on the knobs, other than that it is all original. It has quite a bit of power and was made to Rock!
